Last week, I made a series of posts on the passing of Bob Knight. I focused heavily on a major Knight theme that was happening in the aftermath of the sudden death of actor Matthew Perry, who referred to himself as Mattman in the weeks leading up to his tragedy. Batman is known as the Dark Knight.

In one of those posts, I mentioned how he and his son are connected to the 2001 film A Knight’s Tale. The antagonist is played by Heath Ledger, who famously died a few months before the release of The Dark Knight, where he played the Joker.

In A Knight’s Tale, Ledger’s character dubs himself Sir Ulrich von Liechtenstein. This is the name of a 13th-century poet who wrote some of the first stories that outlined and glorified the lifestyle of knights in medieval Europe.

The name Ulrich certainly stands out in light of my posts from earlier today regarding the death of Matt Ulrich, who dies just four days after Bobby Knight.

Colorado Springs’ mayor’s name was John Suthers The name Suthers is believed to have originated from The Canterbury Tales.

The Sutherland Springs shooting started at 11:20 am, while the last year’s Colorado Springs shooting ended on 11/20, the date it made news.
