MLB Playoffs: Intriguing Riddle for the Braves

As always, any sports predictions or riddles I point out are to be taken with a grain of salt. While I have an enviable record when I do call games ahead of times, I don’t typically spend that much time on it. In fact, just yesterday I said I liked the Giants to probably make the World Series, only to see them to get eliminated a couple hours after that stream.

However, the “earthquake” riddle that led me to like San Francisco actually points to the Atlanta Braves on closer inspection. Let’s see why.

This year, Major League Baseball made it clear that the World Series would be strongly-connected to the 1989 season. In August, MLB had the Field of Dreams Game. Field of Dreams was released in ’89, and the final score ended 8-9. The following month, Corbin Burnes threw most of a no-hitter, in a riddle clearly linked to Corbin Bernsen and the film Major League, which was also released in ‘89.

The 1989 World Series was a special one – prior to Game 3, the devastating Loma Prieta Earthquake delayed the series by ten days. That World Series featured the San Francisco Giants, who came out of nowhere and finished with a record of 10755 this year. “Earthquake” = 107 55.

The Giants lost to the Oakland A’s that year, managed by Tony La Russa. La Russa came out of a ten-year retirement to manage the Chicago White Sox to the postseason this year. However, the Giants and White Sox were both knocked out in the Divisional Series, forcing us to look closer at the numbers. That’s where the Atlanta Braves stand out.

The Braves’ first championship was 107 years ago, when they were still the Boston Braves.

"Boston Braves" = 1070 (English Extended)

1989 was 32 years ago, and the 32nd Prime number is 131. “Atlanta, Georgia” = 131, “Championship” = 131.

Prior to Atlanta, the Braves used to call Milwaukee and Boston their homes. They already beat Milwaukee in the playoffs, and just the fact that they still have the chance to play Boston in the World Series is pretty intriguing.

Brian Snitker

The Braves’ manager is Brian Snitker. He first assumed the role under an interim tag, but was later announced as their full-time skipper at the end of the year.

Game 1 of the World Series will be Brian Snitker’s 1989th day as Braves’ manager:

The Braves have not won the World Series since 1995.

Game 6 of the World Series would be 1995 days after he was first hired:

The Braves’ current General Manager, Alex Anthopoulos, was hired back in 2017. Consider how the last major sports championship was won by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is also from Greece.

"Alex Anthopoulos" = 995 (Jewish)

That was the first World Series to be held after the 1994 baseball strike.

"Total solar eclipse" = 994 (English Extended)

Eclipse Code

Atlanta has matching Ordinal gematria with Eclipse.

Atlanta and Eclipse both = 69 and 120

Snitker has matching 33 Reduction gematria with Eclipse.

Snitker and Eclipse both = 33 Reduction

Game 6 would fall on the date November 2nd. This happens to be a span of 33 days before this year’s Total Solar Eclipse:

Atlanta, famously abbreviated as ATL, sits on the 33rd parallel.

"ATL" = 33 (English Ordinal)

If the Braves win the World Series, it would be the franchise’s 10920th win of all-time, and their 463rd under Brian Snitker.

In Jewish, Eclipse = 192 and Total eclipse = 463

It would also be Snitker’s 22nd playoff victory as manager. It’s been 22 years since the Braves made it to the World Series.

Total solar eclipse = 202 and 67, Braves = 67 and 22

Brian Gerald Snitker was born on a date with a Life Lesson number of 47:(10) + (17) + 1+9+5+5 = 47

Total eclipse = 47 and 187

"Brian Gerald Snitker" = 187 (English Ordinal)

The Braves won 88 games during the regular season, another number connected to the Sun and Moon.

"Brian Gerald Snitker" = 88 (Full Reduction)

Eclipse = 69, Snitker = 96 and 334, Solar eclipse = 433

666 Riddle

The number 33 is of course connected to 666, which is another highly-significant eclipse number. The Braves have not made the World Series since 1999.

Thirty-three = 60 and 66. Thirty-three, Six six six, and Triple sixes all = 156

While 666 is often called the Number of the Beast, many believe it to actually be 616.

Snitker will be 66 years, 9 days old for Game 1 and would be 66 years, 16 days old for Game 6:

"Anthopoulos" = 669 (Jewish)

Although the Braves cannot play Game 6 of the World Series at home, their stadium Truist Park, which broke ground on 9/19, had its official opening 1669 days prior:

Game Six falls on November 2nd, written 2/11 internationally.

"Game six" = 666 (Reverse English Sumerian)

"Six hundred sixty-six" = 211 (Reverse Ordinal)

Again, these are all just my first-glance observations, but you gotta admit they’re pretty wild. We’ll see what happens…
