Catcher Danny Jansen Traded to the Brewers, Andrew Vaughn On Fire
In August of 2024, I made this post after it was announced that Danny Jansen would be making Major League history by playing for both teams in the same rain-delayed game:
Jansen was traded just one day before Seranthony Domínguez did something very similar. Domínguez was in the bullpen for the Orioles in the first game of their doubleheader against the Blue Jays. After the game ended, he was traded and played against the Orioles for the Blue Jays in the second game of the doubleheader:
In the More Notes section of last year’s post, I pointed out a number of alignments Danny had to the number 225. Quite noteworthy, considering that he has now been traded to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2025.
While this post points out some rather fascinating riddles for this year’s Brewers, remember, this should not be construed as a prediction for a World Series. I live in Milwaukee, so it’s always been the team I’ve followed most closely, and I would rather enjoy a championship for the city.
In 2022, I explained (to the point of exhaustion) that the Packers, my home football team, had a huge riddle that potentially pointed to a Super Bowl appearance. However, those clues seemed to instead point at the death of Pope Benedict XVI.
Dan / Danny Jansen
My previous post on Danny Jansen focuses on the numerical connections he has to Olympian Gold medalist Dan Jansen, who is from the Milwaukee area.
Lo and behold, less than one year later, Danny Jansen finds himself playing for the Milwaukee Brewers after a trade that was completed on July 28th:
Each Major League Baseball (MLB) team is scheduled to play 162 games per season.
The deal was made on the date leaving 156 days in the year:
The move was made on a date with Standard numerology of 60:
Dan Jansen won a gold medal in the Sprint event.
Pi (3.14)
Danny Jansen was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers on July 28th – the same date they hosted the Chicago Cubs, and the same date Cubs Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg passed away.
The first number with Ordinal gematria of 314 is 223.
The Milwaukee Brewers were purchased by owner Mark L. Attanasio for $223 million.

Andrew Vaughn
The Jansen deal isn’t the only intriguing trade the Brewers made this season. In June, they made a swap with the Chicago White Sox for first baseman Andrew Vaughn after an injury to Rhys Hoskins.
Earlier this month, I made this video on the devastating Flood in Texas, which was synced to musician Stevie Ray Vaughan, whose debut album was called Texas Flood:
Stevie Ray Vaughan died in a helicopter crash in Wisconsin. The Brewers are Wisconsin‘s only baseball team. At the time of his death, the Brewers had a player named Greg Vaughn.
On the Monday after the flooding in Texas, Andrew Vaughn played his first game for the Brewers. He made an immediate impact, hitting a 3-run dinger in his first at-bat. Since then, he’s been on an incredible tear, hitting 5 home runs w/ 21 RBI and a whopping 1.209 OPS.
