The legendary Willie Mays has passed away. While most of us weren’t alive when he was still playing, you’ve almost certainly seen his most famous highlight – a play simply known as The Catch, which he made during Game 1 of the 1954 World Series at the Polo Grounds.
The Catch was made on the date leaving 93 days in the year:
Mays died on June 18th at age 93
