Dan Wheldon’s Fatal 2011 Crash at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
In my opinion, fatalities on the racetrack are some of the best evidence that deaths by the Sacrifice code may simply be organic in nature. While attempting to complete a $5 million Last-to-First challege, IndyCar driver Dan Wheldon was killed in a massive wreck that involved almost half of the entire field.
The chain reaction that led to his death started when Wade Cunningham clipped the rear of the car in front of him.
Wheldon was launched airborne after striking the car of Charlie Kimball.
Instead of finishing the race in which he was killed, the remaining drivers took part in a Five-lap salute in his honor.
Six years later, Las Vegas was the scene of the largest mass shooting in American history.
