Yankees’ Domingo Germán Throws MLB’s 24th Perfect Game
After six years of YouTube videos and Blog posts about numerology, the coup de grace of sports rarities has finally occurred – the elusive Perfect game in Major League Baseball. Despite there being nearly a quarter of a million MLB games in the books, last night, the Oakland A’s became the 24th team to fail to reach base.
Last nigher’s hero was Domingo Germán of the New York Yankees.
It was the Yankees‘ 80th game of the season.
Domingo became the first Yankees pitcher to throw a Perfect game since David Cone. He did so on a date with Primary numerology of 77 and 41:
See my next post to learn how these numbers connect to the September 11th attacks.
The last three numbers Domingo Germán has worn for the Yankees are 65, 55, and 0.
The name Domingo shares similar etymology to Dominic, and he’s the first Dominican pitcher to ever throw a Perfect game.
The Dominican Republic is primarily a Christian nation, with the largest denomination identifying as Roman Catholics.
Domingo’s last name is Germán – Curiously, the big news out of Germany this morning is that over half a million Germans have left the Catholic church:
Ninety-nine (99)
Last night’s game was the fourth Perfect game thrown by the New York Yankees – the most by any team in Major League history.
It was their first Perfect game since ’99
Of all the Perfect games in history, no winning team scored more in their victory than the Yankees did last night, knocking Eleven runs in against the Oakland A’s:
Domingo Germán threw a total of 99 pitches in his Perfect game, which was the first one in Eleven years:
Notice how the win gave New York their 44th win of the season. This is the only other number aside from 11 to have Reverse gematria of 99.
The game was played in the state of California, which was admitted to the Union on September 9th, or 9/9:
Thirteen (13)
The only other number with 99 gematria in either Ordinal or Reverse is Thirteen, which is reflected in Germán’s name.
This was Perfect game number Twenty-four in MLB history.
Germán’s performance fell exactly 13 weeks after the season began, and 13 weeks before it ends:
This is important because the last pitcher to throw a Perfect game in MLB prior to this was Félix Hernández of the Seattle Mariners.
Félix Hernández was 13 years old for David Cone’s Perfect game, and he threw his own in Washington 13 years later:
This is particularly noteworthy because the first multiple of 13 is 26.
The Dominican Republic was named after Saint Dominic, who was born in 1170.
“King Félix” has Primary birth numerology of 117:

Hernández accomplished his feat in the year 2012 in Seattle, Washington.
Germán was born on August 4th, or 8/4

The 48th Prime number is 223
This is the year 2023
Before Germán, Cone was the last man to throw a Perfect game for the Yankees.
