Chris Kelly From Kris Kross Dies @ 34 (2013)
On May 1st, 2013, hip hop artist Chris Kelly of Kris Kross passed away from an alleged drug overdose:

Another famous singer who died from loss of oxygen was Whitney Houston, who drowned in a bathtub a year before Kelly died.
