Terminated United Officer Sues Former Employer
On April 9th of last year, we got the story about David Dao, a shamed doctor who seems to have cut some sort of deal with police to lessen his punishment by participating in a media ruse.
After denying a money offer to relinquish his overbooked seat for United Airlines staff, Dao was violently dragged off the plane, providing some great Internet videos as he ran back on to the plane and kept muttering to himself.

Today is exactly one year after this story made national news. Of course, the news doesn’t mention that, because they can only admit so many coincidences before people start to wonder.
So we get this story that the officer terminated for the incident is suing his employer for wrongful termination, citing the fact that removing unruly passengers is not something he was trained for.
