Shreveport Man Massacres Own Family on Anniversary of Oklahoma City Bombing

A particularly heart-wrenching story flooded headlines the other day after a rather disgrunted Louisiana man lost his marbles and unthinkably gunned down eight children, wounding several others in a horrific mass shooting on Sunday.

Sunday was April 19th – the anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing, an event which itself was exactly two years after the Waco siege in 1993. While the Waco siege is not a topic of this post, another bombing from that same year is related – the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

The World Trade Center is located in Manhattan, a borough of New York City. During World War II, the Manhattan Project resulted in the usage of the first nuclear weapons in human history. That project was led by J. Robert Oppenheimer, whose story became a bizarre cultural phenomenon in 2023 with the release of the film Oppenheimer alongside Barbie.

To the untrained eye, it sure looked like the Twin Towers were brought down by way of controlled demolition. Intriguingly, old-school WWF tag team Demolition, who once battled the Twin Towers at SummerSlam 1989, was just inducted into the Hall of Fame on Friday.
