Iran Publicly Executes Champion Wrestler Saleh Mohammadi
An Iranian champion wrestler?
There’s been one Iranian champion wrestler in the world’s largest wrestling company, WWE. That would be The Iron Sheik, who departed at the age of 81 back in 2023. See my post about him from June of that year.
The Iron Sheik’s real name was Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri. This means he essentially shares two names with the former Supreme Leader of Iran, whose assassination triggered the new ongoing war:
