Three Drivers in Contention for World Driver’s Championship in Abu Dhabi
This is Part 1 of a three-part post (sorry):
- Three Drivers in Contention for World Driver’s Championship in Abu Dhabi
- Oscar Piastri Lurking to Steal F1 Championship in Abu Dhabi
- Other Notes on Pope Leo XIV and the 2025 Abu Dhabi GP
Max Verstappen is looking to complete an unprecedented comeback this weekend to capture his fifth consecutive World Driver’s Championship, and by setting pole for this weekend, he’s set himself up nicely to do so.
However, he is still not the favorite to win it all. That privilege stands with McLaren driver Lando Norris, who currently leads the championship by twelve points. He qualified second and simply needs to finish on the podium to guarantee a title.
For the first time in 15 years, a third driver also has a chance to win the title in the final weekend. Lando’s McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri sits four points behind Verstappen and 16 behind Lando. Oscar Piastri‘s connection to Oscar Pistorius was explored in the first video I made about the 2025 F1 season.
These posts may be rather exhaustive, but I believe it’s all worth documenting given the gravity of the major alignments.
With a three-way race for the championship hanging in the balance in perhaps the world’s most globalized sport, you would expect numerical riddles to appear for all three drivers, and indeed, we will be looking at all of them in these posts. It’s impossible to pick winners based on numbers alone, and I’m not sure there’s a good bet to be made between them. That’s unfortunate for bettors, but that’s the reality of professional sports, especially since gambling on them has been legalized to such a wide degree.
Nevertheless, the numerology for this weekend is quite fascinating, and it all connects to the United States of America – the home of the newest pontiff of the Catholic Church, Pope Leo XIV, who was elected in May following the death of Pope Francis.
This event is synced up incredibly well to three of the greatest tragedies in American history – the September 11th attacks of 2001, the Attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, and the 1963 assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy.
The 9/11 Code / Pearl Harbor

Last year, I made this post explaining how polesitter Max Verstappen’s entire life and career are synced to the terror attacks of 9/11/01, when Towers 1, 2, and 7 were destroyed. The date of the race is 12/7.
However, the only driver on the grid born in 2001 is Oscar Piastri.

The surname Piastri begins with the word Pi. His given name Oscar begins with a circle.
On the date 9/11/01, the book Life of Pi was first published:
The first three digits of Pi are 3.14.

In 2001, the Hollywood blockbuster Pearl Harbor was released.
Lando Norris was born 13140 days after the JFK assassination, which was 8020 days after the Attack on Pearl Harbor:

The 84th Prime number is 433
A win would give Lando 433 points
That would also mean Lando gets to 1440 points in his career
Piastri ran his first Grand Prix 144 weeks ago
The 144th Prime number is 827
Oscar signed on to become Lando’s teammate when Norris was 8270 days old
144 is both the 12th Square number and the 12th Fibonacci number. It would be Lando’s 12th career win.

199 is the 46th Prime number

Oscar Piastri was born on April 6th, or 4/6:

The president during the 9/11 attacks in 2001 was George W. Bush, who was a graduate of Yale University and member of Skull and Bones.
Skull and Bones
If Lando finishes in his qualifying spot of second, he will win the championship with 426 points.

Adhering to the Rule of Colel, the name Oscar Piastri is a theoretical match with Skull and Bones.

Yale was founded on October 9th, or 10/09:

This is Formula One’s 76th season

In 2023, Yale University, home to the Skull and Crossbones = 223 (or Order 322), turned 322 years old:

The Attack on Pearl Harbor happened on a date with Primary numerology of 79:![]()

Russell sits 4th on the grid behind the three men vying for the biggest prize. Russell is the name of the founder of Skull and Bones, William Huntington Russell. Check out this post for more on this connection.
