Happy Gilmore 2 Debuts on Netflix One Day After Hulk Hogan Dies

Ben Askren was a collegiate champion and represented the United States in the 2008 Olympics in freestyle Wrestling.

This week, we had the death of the biggest star in the history of professional Wrestling, Hulk Hogan. Of course, the major riddle with Hulk Hogan has always been his syncs with another Ben – golfer Ben Hogan, who won the Masters in Augusta, GA the same year the Hulkster was born in Augusta, GA.

One day after he passed, Adam Sandler’s new comedy Happy Gilmore 2 premiered on Netflix. Happy’s eldest son just so happens to be played by professional Wrestling superstar Maxwell Jacob Friedman, better known by his ring name MJF. The movie also features a cameo by professional Wrestler Becky Lynch.

The name Lynch stands out because after Hulk Hogan was baptized, I made this post about how he’s connected to the Lynching of the Big Boss Man at WrestleMania in 1999. Just one day after that post, Dixie Chicks member Laura Lynch was killed in a car crash.

Happy Gilmore 2 was released on Netflix on July 25th:

July 25th is the same date that Golfer Ben Hogan died in 1997, june one year after the original movie:
