Japanese Rikishi Onosato Becomes 75th Yokozuna in History of Sumo

This past weekend, Onosato won his second consecutive Emperor’s Cup from the rank of Ozeki, leaving the council just one choice – a promotion to the sport’s highest rank of Yokozuna. The vote was held on Monday, May 26th, one day after the completion of the May’s tournament.

Onosato became the 75th Yokozuna in the history of Sumo wrestling after winning the May tournament, which concluded on a date with Primary numerology of 75:

That was the same day as the Indy Five Hundred in Indianapolis.

Sumo sums to 500, the number of miles in the race.

This achievement is synced to the scripted world of professional wrestling, whose biggest promoter is WWE. The most popular Japanese Superstar of the current era is Shinsuke Nakamura, who shares a surname with the new Yokozuna Daiki Nakamura:
