Legendary Hall of Fame Broadcaster Bob Uecker Dies @ 90
Bob Uecker, the Voice of the Brewers, has died at the age of 90. He died in a suburb of his hometown, Milwaukee.
Bob was known as Mr. Baseball.
A full 9-inning baseball game consists of 54 total outs.

Uecker’s last game in the broadcast booth for the Brewers was on October 3rd against the New York Mets. After that game, I made this post which examined how the game was a riddle for Mario Mendoza, as it featured a 9th inning appearance by Mets manager Carlos Mendoza.

A .200 batting average is called the Mendoza Line. It’s named after Pirates shortstop Mario Mendoza, who is also a legend in the sport of baseball – not for his accolades, but for his extended futility on the field. In over half of his nine seasons, Mario failed to achieve a .200 batting average.
Uecker departed on January 16th, or 1/16:
In the final game that Uecker called, Jesse Winker scored a dramatic run following a go-ahead home run by Pete Alonso.
