Stolen Base King Rickey Henderson Dies @ 65

In 1991, Rickey Henderson became Major League Baseball’s all-time leader in stolen bases (watch it happen here). It’s one of my favorite record celebrations ever – he immediately pulls the base off its post and raises it over his head:

To make it even better, they gave Rickey a microphone right after this play. After thanking God, the fans, and his family, he finishes his speech by proclaiming ‘I am the greatest of all-time.’

The “Greatest Of All-Time” is often referred to as the phrase’s initials, the G.O.A.T. or ‘Goat.’ On the Zodiac, the Goat is the symbol for Capricorn, which happens to be Rickey’s birth sign:

This post will explain how this is a riddle connected to the car attack at a Christmas market in Germany on the same day as his death, and a pair of Hollywood films that have very distinct connections to the speedy Hall of Famer, including the first-ever film adaptation of a Dr. Seuss book.

The Twin Tropics

Why is Rickey’s trade back to Oakland so important? The trade occurred on June 21st of 1989 – which was the date of the Summer Solstice.

Henderson died on December 20th, which is the last day of Sagittarius. However, news of his death did not break until December 21st, which was the fist day of Capricorn. This change also marks the Winter Solstice.

The Solstices occur when the Sun is directly overhead at the Tropics. The new Athletics stadium will be built at the site of the old Tropicana Casino in Las Vegas, which was destroyed the same day as Rays ballpark Tropicana Field was destroyed by Hurricane Milton. Henderson died a span of 73 days before the next birthday of Dr. Theodor Seuss Geisel, or 293 days after his last:

We’re being told that a Doctor drove through the crowded Christmas market.

Rickey Nelson Henley Henderson was born in Chicago, Illinois, the largest city in the US Central Time Zone. This year, the Winter Solstice officially occurred at 3:21 a.m. in Chicago:

Jim Carrey plays Doctor Robotnik in the new Sonic movie – which was released on the same day as Henderson’s death and the Christmas market attack. This is his first new film since the last Sonic flick, which was nearly three years ago.

Christmas and the Grinch

Jim Carrey is the actor who portrayed The Grinch in the 2000 film How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Rickey Henderson, the all-time Steals leader, was born on December 25th, or Christmas:

That Christmas was a date with Primary numerology of 114:

That’s is also 3020 weeks. Dr. Seuss was born on 3/02.

Christmas is the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It happens just after the start of Capricorn, which Henderson died on the cusp of.

Dr. Seuss was a span of exactly 1046 months old for Henderson’s record, and he died 146 days later:

Rickey finished his career with a total of 1406 stolen bases during his career, most of which came while playing for the team from Oakland, California called the Athletics:

Tropicana Field was destroyed by a Hurricane on the same day the Tropicana Casino was demolished.

Many Christians believe Jesus was actually born on September 11th:

The date of the September 11th attacks in America would be written as 01/11/9 in most parts of the world. The destruction of the Twin Tropicanas was synced up to the collapse of the Twin Towers.

Rickey’s nickname was the Man of Steal

So I guess you could say Henderson was a Running Stealer. He died on the second anniversary of the death of Steelers Running back Franco Harris.

Earthquake Riddle

This all seems to be the capper to a four-day string of events that began with the December 16th school shooting in Wisconsin, which lies directly north of Rickey’s birthplace. Wisconsin is where several people were killed in a Christmas parade car attack in 2021.

On December 17th, there was a large earthquake in Vanuatu. This stands out to me, because Rickey Henderson traded back to the Oakland A’s in 1989 and played in that year’s World Series, which was interrupted by the Loma Prieta earthquake.

457 is the 88th Prime number

Henderson was born in Chicago, which sits alongside the 88th meridian, and would go on to play most of his baseball career in the state of California prior to his death on the Winter solstice:

Oakland is on the 122nd meridian

He swiped that special bag off of pitcher Tim Leary.

88 is 11×8

How the Grinch Stole Christmas first premiered on 11/8 about a week before its wide release.

88 is an important number to Mercury, which takes 88 days to orbit the Sun, with a synodic period of 115.88 days. Mercury’s Magic Square is 8×8.

This all checks out – Mercury, often portrayed with his winged feet, is the fleet-footed god of thieves, travelers, eloquence, communication, and merchants. Rickey, who stole bases, made an eloquent speech after breaking the record, and died on the same day someone drove through a market.
