Colton Herta Wins IndyCar’s Final 2024 Race in Nashville
On September 7th, I made a Tweet on X about the shooter at Apalachee High School in Georgia. His face reminded me of someone, but I couldn’t put my finger on it…
Then it hit me. He kinds looks like that IndyCar driver…THEN it dawned on me that they share the same first name Colt:
Colton Herta was born in California, but currently resides in Nashville. This is noteworthy because the Apalachee school shooting was the nation’s deadliest since seven people were killed at The Covenant School in Nashville.
IndyCar’s next race after Colt Gray’s massacre was the season finale in Nashville. Although the Grand Prix was originally scheduled to be a road course that traversed downtown, it was later announced that they would be running an Oval race at the Nashville Superspeedway.
Well, wouldn’t you know it – the winner of the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix was Colton Herta.

This was Colton’s first-ever win at an Oval course. This was also intriguing because the shooting in Georgia was a major Pi riddle. Ovals technically are not circles, but cars don’t race in perfect circles, so it seems relevant nonetheless.
The word Pi is comprised of the 16th and 9th letters of the alphabet.
