This is my first of two posts on this news:

What a date for news about a Ban for Sports gambling.

In 2019, I made this post that explained a huge 9/11 riddle when the NFL suspended Josh Shaw for betting on games. Shaw was drafted into the league by Cincinnati – the same city Pete Rose was born in, and where he spent the bulk of his playing and coaching career.

Although Shaw was not banned like Marcano, it still marked the end of his career in the league, as he would only play in the USFL after that.

Josh Shaw will be 12040 days (or exactly 1720 weeks) old for the Pi Day Eclipse:

"Sports gambling" = 172 (Ordinal)

Gambling sums to 116, which is an upside-down 911.

"Gambling" = 116 (Latin)
