Blake Perkins Robs AND Hits a Home Run in the Same Inning

What to know about Negro Leagues stats entering MLB record

This is my first of two posts on this story. First, it’s important to see how an amazing feat by Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Blake Perkins was coded, as it will lead into the news of MLB’s statistical update.

I haven’t blogged about any baseball this year, because quite frankly, the sport has lost much of its appeal to me over the past few years. Maybe it’s because I’m losing patience as I age.

Anyway, while I was out last night, I saw Brewers outfielder Blake Perkins rob a home run by snagging a deep fly ball from over the center field fence:

But that wasn’t all he did. In the very next half-inning, he came up to the plate and blasted a two-run home run of his own:

So he robbed a home run, and then immediately hit one. I’ve seen a lot of baseball in my years, and I can’t recall ever seeing that. This happened on the night of May 29th, which is the anniversary for the State of Wisconsin.

But what made this truly incredible?

I was unable to find a screenshot of the interview, but as shown by the highlight’s top comment on Reddit, Blake Perkins actually talked to the announcers before the game, and he was asked whether he enjoyed robbing or hitting home runs:What most people won't know is that the pre-game show had an interview with Perkins while he was shagging fly balls and they asked him about robbing home runs. He said he's only had a few in his career and that you need basically a perfect storm for it to occur and boom, happens in the game just a short time later. Baseball gods exist... confirmed.

"Blake Perkins" = 123 (Ordinal)

Blake Perkins was 10,123 days old for the game:

"Perkins" = 123 (Reverse Caps Added)

For good measure, Perkins dazzled again in the 7th inning by making this incredible outstretched catch, which was probably more difficult than the catch to rob the homer:

The Tower

But of course, there’s more. Perkins, whose name starts with the 16th letter, wears #16. The final score of this game just happened to be 10-6.

Without beating a dead horse, this stands out because 16 is the big number trending lately, as I’ve been consistently blogging about. See my last post where I mention how Albert Ruddy was connected to the number 16 through the Tower card, which is the 16th of the Tarot.

The ultimate Tower ritual played out on September 11th. Blake Perkins was born one day before that date on September 10th. Both of these dates (w/out and with end date) are 160 days after April 4th, the date the World Trade Center first opened.

The game was played a span of 106 days before Sep. 11th:

Perkins’ home run came off of pitcher Shota Imanaga, who was having an historic start to the season before last night.

Imanaga was a span of exactly 419 weeks old on 9/11:

Perkins made his Big League debut on 4/19

4/19 was the date of the Oklahoma City bombing, when a federal Tower was destroyed:

This game was played against the Chicago Cubs. Last November, Brewers manager Craig Counsell left the team so he could go manage for the Cubs. That happened on 11/6, which is an upside-down 9/11See my post on that move from when it happened.

Blake Perkins was born a span of 1106 days after Shota Imanaga:

Blake Perkins was born during Brown Lunation # 911:

The home run he robbed came off the bat of Christopher Morel.

"Christopher Rafael Morel" = 119 (Reduction)

1109 is the 186th Prime number

The game fell 18 months, 6 days after he signed with Milwaukee:

"Craig John Counsell" = 186 (Ordinal)

911 is the 156th Prime number

The game was a span of 1 months, 5 weeks, 6 days (or exactly 58 weeks) after Blake’s Major League debut:

It was on a date with Standard numerology of 58:(5) + (29) + (24) = 58

See my next post to learn how this is a riddle connected to Negro league baseball and the new MLB average leader, Josh Gibson.

Blake’s heroics fell 5 months, 8 days after Gibson’s birthday:

See the bottom of this post on the Monaco Grand Prix that explores the importance of that number to 9/11. The number 58 is half of 116.

The Moon

The 9/11 attacks fell on the 254th day of the year:

Because Perkins was born in a leap year, his date of birth was also the 254th day of the year:

Blake’s rare feat was accomplished during Brown Lunation # 1,254:

"Christopher Morel" = 254 (Capitals Added)

Why is the Brown Lunation number so important here?

As I have been documenting since the very beginning of this Blog, the Brewers are one of the teams in MLB that are heavily-connected to The Moon. A simple search of my Blog gives you about 40 posts that are at least somewhat connected.

The Moon and Brewers both = 90 Ordinal

Blake Alexander Perkins = 90 and 2160

The Moon has an equatorial diameter of 2160 miles:

The game fell on the date leaving 216 days in the year:

"Shota Imanaga" = 216 (Capitals Mixed)

Bob Uecker

The numerology of the Brewers is largely centered around its radio broadcaster, Bob Uecker, the greatest to ever do it. Look at how strongly Blake’s full name connects to the legend.

"Blake Alexander Perkins" = 99 (Single Reduction)

Robert George Uecker = 99 and 99, Uecker, Brewers, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin all = 99

Shota Imanaga’s nickname might be one of my favorites – The Throwing Philosopher.

"The Throwing Philosopher" = 99 (Reverse Reduction)

The Moon = 99 Reverse and 283 Latin

Counsell was a span of 9 months, 9 days (or 283 days) after his birthday:

Blake Alexander Perkins and Robert George Uecker both = 1188

The game was also 242 days before Uecker’s birthday:

Milwaukee Brewers = 242 Caps and Reverse, Blake Alexander Perkins = 1242 Sumerian

May 28th

Brewers and Moon each sum to 90 in Ordinal.

Uecker turned 90 years, 123 days old one day before the game:

Blake Alexander Perkins = 90 and Blake Perkins = 123

2024 is a leap year, but if it wasn’t, Uecker would have been 90 years, 123 days old for the game as well. May 28th is also relevant because it can be written as 28/5.

"Blake Alexander Perkins" = 285 (Capitals Added)

Craig Counsell is currently 2805 weeks old:

May 28th is typically written as 5/28.

"Craig Counsell" = 528 (Latin)

September 11 = 528 Standard

May 28th was also the date we learned about the death of Albert Ruddy. Check my post on him out to see how the number 528 was coded into his film The Godfather. Ruddy was 26100 days old on 9/11.

Blake Perkins was exactly 261 weeks old on Sep. 11th, 2001:

Blake Perkins’ first game was exactly 2611 weeks after the World Trade Center opened:

The new stats were homologated 261 days after Sep. 11th and a span of 261 days after Perkins’ birthday:

Thus, May 29th is also a span of 261 days after Sep. 11th:
