Rock Band U2 to Open Las Vegas Sphere in September 2023

On that same exact date, Irish singer Sinead O’Connor died. She was best-known for Nothing Compares 2 U, which was originally a song by the Family. See my video on that as well.
The Irish theme continued into this past weekend. Yesterday, I made this post on the passing of actor Angus Cloud and how it was connected to the 1995 film Angus, where the main character was played by Charles McClellan Talbert. The other most famous Angus is Angus Young, whose middle name is McKinnon.
The “Mc” prefix is recognized as belonging to an Irish surname. So it’s strange that two guys connected to “Angus” have a “Mc” prefix on their middle names.
In the world of music, no Irish act has had as much success as U2. This gives us another link to Sinead O’Connor, whose famous song was Nothing Compares 2 U. Later this year, a U2 concert will be the first show to open up the Las Vegas Sphere at the Venetian Resort:
