One of the most successful college basketball programs in the United States in recent decades has been the Duke Blue Devils.
Historically, devils have always been depicted as being red in color. Perhaps the university thought “Blue Devils” was a little less ominous, and even a little cute.
The name Blue Devils is said to come from the name of a French infantry batallion that fought in World War I. However, don’t fool yourself – the real reason Duke likes the name Blue Devils, per usual, is the occulted language of gematria, where Blue Devils yields the infamous 666 in the Sumerian cipher. It also matches Six six six in Reduction.
When spelled out, the number Six hundred and sixty-six gives us Latin gematria of 2083. See my latest Super Stream to learn more about this fascinating number.
2083 is the 314th Prime number
3.14 is Pi, which resolves the Mathematics of the circle by allowing for Mathematical perfection.
The Blue Devils won the National Championship in both 2001 and 2010.
This brings us to legendary Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski, whose Ordinal gematria matches 666 and Blue Devils in Reverse. Notice how Wikipedia’s featured image of Coach K is from 2011, despite it being 12 years ago.
Krzyzewski broke the all-time college basketball wins record in the year 2011.
211 is the 47th Prime number
In the Book of Revelation, 666 is referred to as the number of the Beast. The four Beasts are first described in Revelation 4:7 – pertinent as the 4th Prime number is 7.
Krzyzewski was born in ’47
Duke hired him in 1980
He retired in 2022
He would go on to coach Duke basketball for 42 seasons. In the book of Revelation, the Beast rules for 42 months. The 2001 championship, the last one before the 9/11 attacks, was won on 4/2.
Coach K won a total of 1202 career games
“33” – Jesus Coding
There were 137 points scored in the game when he won his first national championship.
137 is the 33rd Prime number
The number 666 is connected to Jesus in several ways. In Reverse, Six six six has Standard gematria of 303.
Mike’s full name has matching 303 gematria with Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Many people believe that Jesus was crucified in 33 A.D. at the age of 33.
The 303rd Prime number is 1999
He won Coach of the Year in 1999
The number 666 is further linked to 33 in gematria.
Coach K was hired as the head coach of Duke on March 18th, 1980. However, the day before that date is what really stands out.
That date, March 17th, was the 77th day of a leap year:
Christ was born to the Virgin Mary. Duke hired Mike after five seasons at Army, which is made up of the same four letters as Mary.
Krzyzewski, who wore number Twelve as a player, was 33 years, 33 days old as of the 17th of March, or 17/3 that year.
The number 173 flipped upside-down is the word ELI, which Jesus cries out while hanging on the cross:
22×6 = 132, like Krzyzewski’s 13/2 birthday
He coached 132 NCAA Tournament games
He coached 132 games at Army
He was hired 132 months before his first championship
132 is 66+66 (“Thirty-three” = 66)
It’s believed that Jesus was crucified on the 93rd day of the year between 9 and 3 p.m., sparking the religion of Christianity.
When Mike Krzyzewski broke the all-time college basketball wins record as a head coach in 2011, he did so with his 903rd victory. This surpassed Bob Knight, who was his former coach at Army.
151 is the 36th Prime number
Krzyzewski has a Life Lesson number of 36:
The 36th Triangular number is 666
The smallest equation you can use to get .666… on a calculator is 2÷3
I was inspired to make this post because a few weeks ago, I made this post on “The Shot,” which was voted as the most famous college basketball play of all-time by Sports Illustrated.
Per usual, I missed a piece of that puzzle. The post was centered around the number 12, as Mike Krzyzewski sums to 1002 and it was his 12th season as Duke’s head coach. As it turns out, Krzyzewski actually wore #12 during his college playing career at West Point.
The number Twelve has matching gematria with Six six six.
“The Shot” occurred during Duke basketball’s 87th season.
In the same cipher where his name sums to 1002, the number Twelve equals 450.
The game was Mike’s 405th as head coach of the Duke Blue Devils.
Coach K’s last championship was won in 2015.
The 2015 title game fell on a date with Primary numerology of 45:
Krzyzewski defeated Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan, the son of Butch Ryan.
