Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – By the Numbers
If you’re reading this blog, you’re likely familiar with the fact that the number 33 is significant in numerology. The highest degree of the Scottish Rite, the master teacher number, the 33-year moon cycle, etc.

On the date 3/30 in 1990, the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film was released in theaters. 1990 has a 99 in the middle of it, which is of course 33 × 3. This would be the first of 3 films in the decade.
