Kevin Owens Takes Crazy Bump in Steel Cage Match
Last night, Kevin Owens took a crazy fall from the top of a steel cage through the announcer’s table at WWE’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view. It’s being compared to Mick Foley‘s famous dive off the top of Hell in a Cell in 1998.
Foley’s fall was definitely crazier – the table he crashed through was a regular announce table. The commentators sitting at the table didn’t even know Foley would be taking the dive as there was no preparation.
This time, however, the table Owens fell through was cushioned with an airbag you can see in several camera angles. Still, the jump was very risky and probably still hurt. But it was more like a stunt than a bump. Either way, big props to Kevin Owens.
Mick Foley’s dive off the Cell came in a match against The Undertaker. Hell in a Cell was one of his signature match types.
The event took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Last night’s event, Extreme Rules, also took place in Pittsburgh.
Both Mick Foley and his opponent, the Undertaker, have matching gematria with the number 13
In Jewish gematria, the number thirteen sums to 347,just like the Hebrew word for sacrifice
On the date of his fall off the cage, Kevin Owens was 34 years, 70 days old
Braun Strowman, who threw Owens off the cage, is 34 weeks, 7 days (end date included) older than him. This is also 244 days, and 244 is the Hebrew gematria of the word for “kill”.
The Foley / Undertaker Hell in a Cell match fell on a date with 151 full numerology:
There seems to be some biblical symbolism here. 151 is the Ordinal value of “Jesus Christ”. Mick Foley’s wrestling character was named Mankind – perhaps this was representative of the fall of man.
In the Reverse order, Jesus Christ sums to 146
Kevin Owens’ fall came exactly 1046 weeks after Foley’s:
This same duration is a span of 20 years, 18 days, and of course, here we are in 2018.
The match also had numerology of 133
Jesus was 33 years old when he was crucified. King of the Ring 1998, the event that held the Hell in a Cell Match, was the first Pay-Per-View Foley wrestled on as a 33-year-old – his birthday was exactly 3 weeks prior. The Undertaker was also 33
Mick Foley’s and Kevin Owens’ falls both fell on dates with 33 numerology:
The 33rd prime number is 137
The date of Foley’s Hell in a Cell match had more Jesus numbers:
You may recall how important the number 93 is to Christianity…
Foley’s Hell in a Cell match occurred on the 179th day of the year:
Last night, it was Braun Strowman who threw Kevin Owens off the cage.
Mick Foley and Kevin Owens are exactly 227 months apart in age:
22 ÷ 7 = 3.14…
