The shooter’s name was Robin Westman. However, prior to identifying as a female, it was Robert Westman. This name is clearly connected to the new pope, whose first name is Robert, and just the second pope to be a man from the West.

Robert Prevost, now known as Pope Leo XIV, is a member of the Order of Saint Augustine – fitting for a shooting in the month of August.

Westman opened fire on the date leaving 126 days in the year:
