Brewers Hit Two Homers Off Phil Maton to Win Game 2

Phil Maton’s crushing Mets Wild Card meltdown came out of nowhere

Came out of nowhere, huh?

Phil Maton's crushing Mets Wild Card meltdown came out of nowhere = 254 and 2540

When you understand astronomy and numerology, there are no true mysteries in sports. Consider how there are 254 Sidereal months (Lunar orbits) in the Metonic cycle.

Meltdown and Metonic both = 34, 38, and 110, Athens Greece = 110

I grew up as one of the most loyal Milwaukee Brewer fans in existence. Despite what I know about these sports leagues, it’s impossible for me not to root for my home city. But given how solid this riddle is, I saw it as my duty to put my fandom aside and talk about this. Also see my other post exploring the Skull and Bones code:

The Metonic Cycle

Notice the name of the pitcher – Phil Maton. This is a nod to the major Metonic cycle riddle that exists within the numbers of the Mets and Brewers. In fact, I documented this connection back in 2019 in this post about an 18-inning game between these same two teams.

The Metonic cycle is named after Greek astronomer Meton of Athens. Milwaukee is known as the German Athens of America. Athens, Greece is the birthplace of NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who led Milwaukee to an NBA championship.

"Meton" = 225 (Latin)

Jackson Chourio hit not one, but two game-tying home runs in this game.

Chourio was 20 years, 205 days old for the game:

The Mets are back in Milwaukee, Wisconsin following the death of Pete Rose. See my post from the other day to learn more about that link.

Mets, Milwaukee Wisconsin, and Rose all = 225

Recall how Pete Rose155 died on 9/30, the same date the Reds (his former team) finished their 155th season of pro baseball.

Meton of Athens = 155 and 930

Phil Maton surrendered two home runs in the 8th inning, which blew the team’s lead. They came off the bats of Garrett Mitchell and Jackson Chourio.

Mitchell and Chourio were born 66 months, 8 days apart from one another:

Metonic cycle has Latin gematria of 668.

"Metonic cycle" = 668 (Latin)

Pete Rose died when the United States was 90,668 days old:

He broke the record off of Show = 668

The Moon is always of utmost importance when the Mets play the Brewers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Mets, Rose, and Moon all = 57 and 51. The Moon and Brewers both = 99 and 90, Milwaukee Wisconsin = 99, Garrett Mitchell = 90, Maton III = 90

The current General Manager of the Mets is David Stearns, who was previous the Brewers’ GM. He was born on February 18th, or 2/18. Moon218 (Hebrew).

This is not the first time Garrett Mitchell has broken the Mets’ backs. In April of 2023, he hit a walk-off home run against them in the same ballpark.

Game 2 was exactly 17 months, 4 weeks after Garrett’s 2023 walk-off and 174 days before Phil Maton’s birthday:It was exactly 17 months, 4 weeks after Garrett’s 2023 walk-off:

This is the number Meton of Athens shares in Greek and English.

"Μετων ο Αθηναιος" = 174 (Greek Ordinal)

"Meton of Athens" = 1074 (Fibonacci)

Meton was Greek, and in Greek Isopsephy, his name sums to 1465.

Meton = 1645 in Greek Isopsephy

Maton III was a span of exactly 1645 weeks (or 378 months) old for Game 2:

Maton III = 378 Standard, Maton = 378 Sumerian

Metonic cycle has Standard gematria of 1108.

"Metonic cycle" = 1108 (Standard)

Mitchell’s heroics were separated by 1 year, 180 days:

Milwaukee = 1180 Latin, Wisconsin = 118 Reverse

11×8 = 88
Phil Maton wears # 88
He blew the game in the 8th inning

88 is a number significant to Lunar and Solar cycles:

"Phil Maton s crushing Mets Wild Card meltdown came out of nowhere" = 808 (Reverse)

Game 2 was a span of 8 days before Yale’s anniversary

Phil Maton was born 58888 days after the first day of 1832:

Phil Maton was born 322 days before the start of Lunation # 880:

More Notes

Chourio hit two home runs 160 days before his birthday:

The Metonic Cycle, Phil Maton, Garrett Antony Charles Mitchell, and Mitchell all = 160

The United States is currently 248 years old. Meton of Athens has gematria of 248, syncing up with Maton’s full and last names.

"Meton of Athens" = 248 (Reverse Caps Added)

Phillip Louis Maton III = 248 Ordinal, Maton III = 248 Latin and Caps Mixed

Games 2 and 3 are also numerically-synced to the 18-inning game between the Mets and Brewers I referenced earlier. In my post on that game, I pointed out how the Brewers picked up their 19th win of the ’19 season. The Metonic cycle is 19 years long, and the 19th Prime number is 67.

Meton and Athens both = 67 Ordinal

The 18-inning game was exactly 67 Lunations (or a span of 5 years, 5 months) before Game 3:

"Metonic cycle" = 55 (Reduction)

Phil Maton s crushing Mets Wild Card meltdown came out of nowhere = 650, Meton of Athens and Athens Greece both = 65
