Michigan Wolverines Coach Sherrone Moore Fired and Arrested on Same Day
This is Part 1 of a two-part post:
- Michigan Wolverines Coach Sherrone Moore Fired and Arrested on Same Day
- “Thirteen” and the Sherrone Moore Saga
On this Blog, I tend to focus on events that fall within one of four categories – world or U.S. politics, sports, celebrity/athlete deaths, and bizarre news stories.
The fourth category covers stories that makes you furrow your brow, scratch your head, or say “What?!” out loud to yourself. Today’s topic certainly qualifies.
Earlier this week, Sherrone Moore, the head football coach at the University of Michigan, an elite program who won a National Championship less than two years ago, was fired after it came to light that he was having an affair with a female staffer.
If that wasn’t big enough of a story, Moore found himself behind bars later that same day. Details are murky, but he allegedly paid that staffer a visit and assaulted her, which led to his arrest. This has caused some outlets to refer to this as perhaps the biggest college football news this entire decade, and I don’t think they’re wrong.
This Affair at the University of Michigan first made headlines on December 10th, or 12/10.

Skull & Bones
An important element of this riddle is football coach Jim Harbaugh, who led Michigan to their championship in January of 2024. Immediately after winning, Harbaugh bolted for the NFL, where he now coaches the Bolts, a.k.a. the Chargers. I swear, that wordplay was not intended when I started typing that sentence.
The Chargers were the team Philip Rivers spent nearly his entire career with. My most recent posts focus on Philip Rivers and his shocking comeback to the NFL after nearly five full years away.
As a result, this story has a very similar theme. Consider how Part 2 talks about the Golden Ratio, which is 1.618, while Part 4 mentions the number 445 in connection to Lunar Eclipses.

Yale, the alma mater and employer of Walter Camp, known as the Father of American Football, has won or shared 27 National Championships in college football, second-most of all-time. Michigan has 19 recognized titles, which is the fifth-most.

Part 3 of those posts discusses Rivers’ syncs to the Skull and Bones code. This story is no different.

The Skull and Bones society was founded in December 1832, with no specific date listed:

Saline, Michigan

322 is the number embedded on the famous logo of Skull and Bones. Sherrone Moore was arrested in the city of Saline, Michigan.

Yale University was founded on October 9th, or 10/09:

Saline is an interesting name for a city, because it refers to a chemical compound. Saline is made up of water and salt, or Sodium Chloride. Sodium and Chlorine are the 11th and 17th elements on the periodic table:
The date 11/17 is the 322nd day of a leap year:![]()

11×17 = 187
1117 is the 187th Prime number

The Moon
In the year 2023, Yale University turned 322 years old:

57 is the number of degrees The Moon ranges across the plane of the Sun, where it must be for an Eclipse to occur:

223 and 322 are the most significant numbers to the Skull and Bones society, a Masonic organization at Yale University. Consider how there are 223 Lunar phases between every Eclipse from the same Saros cycle.

The former Michigan head coach was born on December 23rd, or 12/23:

Camp’s death was on (3)+(14)+(19)+(25) = 61. Skull and Crossbones = 61.
Sherrone Moore was born on February 3rd, or 2/03:
203 is the telephone dialing code for Yale in New Haven, CT:

The word Moon begins with the 13th letter and ends with the 13th letter in Reverse. There are Thirteen Full Moons every couple of years.
