#2 Willy Adames Hits 2 Home Runs in Return to Milwaukee
San Francisco Giants’ shortstop Willy Adames made his first appearance in the city of Milwaukee last night after spending the previous four seasons with the Brewers.
Adames, who now wears #2 for the Giants, rose to the occasion with 2 RBI’s on 2 solo home runs:
Willy was born on the 2nd day of September in Santiago, Santiago, Dominican Republic:
He made his Big League debut for Tampa Bay (TB) on the 22nd of May:
The date of that game even had numerology of 20:
He was sent back down to the Minors twice, but was called up for good on the 22nd of July that same year.
Now, he’s made his return to Milwaukee on the 22nd of August, playing for San Francisco.
He entered the series with a .222 batting average:
On top of that, he also had 20 home runs:
He hit 2 homers in the game
The first one came off of Brewers starter Jose Quintana.
Jose Quintana even gave up 2 hits and 2 earned runs, walking 2 and striking out 2:
Willy’s 2nd dinger was on the 2nd pitch
That one was off of reliever Aaron Ashby.
Adames now has 22 home runs
2 is 1+1
That upcoming birthday on the 2nd day of the month ends his 20‘s, and falls on a date with Reduced numerology of 20:
Check out the beginning of the game’s YouTube highlights. Adames is shown hugging Christian Yelich (#22), and the next player shown is #2 Brice Turang, whose initials are 2-20.
Recall how Milwaukee was recently flooded on the 222nd day of the year.
Trevor Megill
That was a lot of 2‘s. After I made those observations, the Brewers called on closer Trevor Megill to make the save on the 22nd of August, or 22/8.
Upon entering, the announcers pointed out that Megill had only surrendered 2 earned runs in his last 20 innings pitched. Trevor, whose name begins with the 20th letter, has birth numerology of 20:
Megill got the first 2 hitters out in the 9th inning. The next batter was Luis Matos, who was born in 2002. He hit a shallow fly ball to center field, where #20 Brandon Lockridge, whose name starts with the 2nd letter, made a poor play, allowing the ball to get past him. Sal Frelick, who was born in 2000, picked up the ball and threw to 2nd base, but Matos was safe with a double for his 2nd hit of the night.
The next batter was Dominic Smith, which is interesting, because Willy Adames is Dominican. He got on base with a single, sending Matos to third. With the tying run just 90 feet away, Megill threw a fastball in the dirt that got by William Contreras, allowing Matos to score his 2nd run of the game, tying the score at 4-4. William is a pretty similar first name to Willy.
Megill ended his outing with an ERA of 2.20:
William Contreras
Despite allowing the tying run to score in the top of the 9th, William Contreras got his retribution in the bottom of the inning. Once again, the first 2 hitters made outs, but Contreras then picked up his 2nd RBI of the game with his 2nd hit (his first was a double) – a towering home run to walk it off. It was his 14th of the season.
William Jesus Contreras was born 113 days after Willy Adames’s birthday, and was 10103 days old for his first career walk-off homer:
The game fell 11 days before Willy’s 30th birthday:
10/13 is the birthday of former Brewers closer Trevor Hoffman, who shares a first name with their current closer Trevor Megill.
Hoffman was exactly 3019 weeks old for last night’s game. That’s the exact number of weeks between the births of Bob Uecker and Brewer captain Christian Yelich, who shares a December 5th birthday with Trevor Megill. I mentioned this connection in a recent post.
The date of this game had Primary numerology of 75:
William Contreras wears # 24
He was born on the 24th
Willy wore #27 during his time with the Brewers.
