Other CTE Cases
When I think of famous cases involving chronic traumatic encephalopathy, two in particular come to mind, probably because of the popularity of the players involved.
Back in 2017, former Patriots tight endĀ Aaron Hernandez reportedly hung himself after being convicted of murder.
Hernandez joined the Patriots in 2010, which was the first season after linebackerĀ Junior Seau left the team. Seau allegedly shot himself in 2012.
