‘Cheers’ Actor George Wendt Passes Away @ 76
George Wendt was born on October 17th. That’s the same as fellow Chicago native Steve McMichael, whose death I similarly connected to Pope Francis in my post from last month.
The two men were born exactly 108 months apart. That’s a significant number to the new Pope, who was also born in Chicago, as I highlighted in this decode.

George Wendt was best-known for his role on the long-running television sitcom Cheers, where he played a character named Norm Peterson. Peter was the name of the first Catholic pope.
Wendt’s middle name was Robert, which is the first name of the new pope, Leo XIV.
