Congresswoman Mia Love became the first black Republican member of congress after she was elected to represent the state of Utah in 2014.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been exhaustively detailing how all sorts of recent news stories have been connected to NBA legend Michael Jordan. Here are just a few examples:
The last team that Michael Jordan and the Bulls defeated to win the NBA Championship was the Utah Jazz in the 1998 NBA Finals. 1998 is the same year that Mia met her husband Jason Love. But that’s not all – Jordan also has a mystical connection to the name Love.

In 2020, the country fell back in love with Jordan and the Bulls upon the release of Netflix’s The Last Dance, which premiered on April 19th, or 4/19:
Less than a week later, Jordan Love was drafted into the NFL by the Green Bay Packers. He was born in 1998 – the same year as those Finals.
Bob Love died just one day after Jordan Love and the Packers defeated the Chicago Bears, and two days before the Chicago Bulls visited Milwaukee to play the Bucks – the same team the Bulls traded Bob to.
His nickname was Butterbean.
