Looking Ahead at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix
This weekend, Formula One makes its eighth trip to Baku for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. When reviewing the list of drivers to see if I could pick out a riddle for any potential winners, one name stood out in particular.
My last video was on the death of actor James Earl Jones, and how it was numerically-connected to his role in the Star Wars films. This past May, the man who played the main character of the original trilogy, Mark Hamill, visited the White House on a Friday, and a driver named Lando Norris won the race in Miami the following Sunday for his first-ever career F1 victory. The last man in the White House was Donald Trump, and it just so happened he was a guest of McLaren, Norris’s team.
This was all quite intriguing, as Lando Calrissian is the name of a character from the Star Wars franchise. Norris’s mom says he was not named after him, but it seems as if even Lando himself doesn’t believe her.
What do the odds say? At the time of writing, he’s +120 as the clear favorite to win. Is it worth a wager, given how well all the numbers align? That’s for you to decide, but it’s strong enough that I decided to make a post about it.

Lando Norris was born in 1999, just six months after the release of Episode I – The Phantom Menace, which was the franchise’s first new movie in sixteen years. That film came out on 5/19, which stands out because Lando is trying to achieve McLaren’s 519th podium this weekend.
