Harrison Burton Wins Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona
Harrison Burton is the son of Jeff Burton, who was not only a former NASCAR driver himself, but also happened to be in the commentary booth to cheer him on to victory.
Winner Harrison Burton shares a last name with famous film director Tim Burton. Later this week, Tim’s new film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
Pluto a.k.a. Hades is the ruler of the Underworld. In Greek mythology, he was known as Ploutōn. 
The Beetlejuice franchise is about the undead haunting the living. The name Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is noteworthy because of its B.B. initials. Harrison wasn’t the only driver to taste victory for the first time at the highest level yesterday. Stage 1 of the Coke Zero Sugar 400 was won by Josh Berry (Berry-B-urton or B.B.).

This weekend’s NASCAR races were held at Daytona International Speedway. Back in February, I made this post on the 2024 Daytona 500, explaining how there was a major Plutonian riddle underway. The following week, NASCAR had its closest photo finish of all-time, mimicking a scene from the movie Cars, which came out the same year Pluto was demoted to a dwarf planet (2006).
This is all very relevant to Satuday’s feature race, which was held on August 24th – the same date as Pluto’s demotion. The connections between Daytona and Pluto have always been strong, as Dale Earnhardt died on the anniversary of Pluto’s discovery in 2001, the same year as the 9/11 terror attacks.
Earnhardt died in a Car crash = 71, which was 71 days before his birthday and the 71st anniversary of Pluto’s discovery. Now it’s the year 2024.
