9-Year-Old Ema Kawakami Completes a Triple 900°
9-year-old Ema Kawakami has been able to do a 900° on his skateboard since he was just seven years old. However, he had a particularly special moment a couple of weeks ago at the XGames, when he completed three consecutive 900°s during his run on the vert. He did it in front of skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, who was famously the first athlete to complete the trick – although Birdman was 31 years old at the time.
Tony Hawk’s first 900° was performed in the year ’99. And now a 9-year-old has become the master of the 900°.
Notice how many times the hype guy yells “900” during the clip. With everyone in the vicinity focused so intently with such electric energy, was this an attempt at magically manifesting the feat?
Tony Hawk was born in ’68. The number 68 flipped upside-down is 89.
The young phenom was born on the 8th of September, or 8/9.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater was initially released in 1999 on the 29th of September, or 29/9:

Three years later, Tony Hawk started a nonprofit called The Skatepark Project.
Hawk’s first Nine hundred was a span of 1 month, 16 days after his birthday and 10 months, 16 days before his next:
“900° Spin”
The Skatepark Project was founded in the year 2002, the first day of which was a span of 920 days after Hawk’s first Nine hundred degree spin:
In 2016, Hawk proved he still had it at the age of 48 when he completed another 900° spin on the anniversary of his first.
