Packers Fall to Giants in Their First London Game

Giants-Packers final score: New York stuns Green Bay, 27-22

The score of the game reflects how this was a tribute to Aaron Charles Rodgers and his myriad of connections to the crowning of Prince Charles III, which I have been documenting since January of 2021.

Aaron Rodgers was 2027 weeks, 2 days old for his game in London:

Rodgers, whose team scored 22 points, threw for 222 yards and 2 TD’s in his 2022 London, England debut. This is a big number to the National Football League, where 22 players take the field for each play.

"London England" = 220 (Reverse)

"National Football League" = 220 (Ordinal)

Rodgers, who wears #12, squared off against quarterback Daniel Jones.

Daniel Stephen Jones III = 222 and 120

Rodgers entered the game with a total of 153 wins including the playoffs. They lost, keeping his win total right there. This matches the full name of England’s new king, Charles Philip Arthur George.

"Charles Philip Arthur George" = 153 (Single Reduction)

Both teams entered the game with a 3-1 record.

It had been 31 days since Charles became the new King:

This meant one team would be 4-1 and the other would fall to 3-2.

King = 41 and 32

John Lennon

The Packers, one of the NFL’s most popular franchises, are the final team to have never played a game in London prior to today’s contest. Their introduction to our friends across the pond happened on John Lennon’s birthday, October 9th, shortly after the crowning of Charles, The King.

"London" = 74 (Ordinal)

"Lennon" = 74 (Ordinal)

The Packers’ opponents? The Giants, who are from New York, which sits on the 74th meridian. New York is the same city where Lennon was killed in 1980.

Aaron Rodgers was born 1089 days after the assassination of John Lennon:

"Aaron Rodgers" = 189 (Reverse)

"Daniel Jones" = 189 (Reverse)

Aaron Rodgers was born on 12/2 of  ’83

John Lennon was born on a date with 122 numerology, leaving 83 days in the year:

National Football League = 122 and Football = 83

Today would be the first day of Lennon’s 83rd year since birth. John Winston Lennon would be 82 years old today:

"John Winston Lennon" = 82 (Reduction)

Aaron Charles Rodgers was a span of 312 days after his birthday:"Aaron Charles Rodgers" = 312 (Reverse)

Hail Mary!

The Queen’s full name was Elizabeth Alexandra Mary. She died on September 8th, which is widely-recognized by the church of Rome as the birthday of the Virgin Mary.

In American football, the “Hail Mary” is a desperation pass that teams use when they absolutely need a touchdown at the very end of the game.

On rare occasion, you’ll see a Hail Mary at the end of the first half. This is only when the offense has a quarterback with a strong arm and is at the edge of field goal range (usually due to conditions). As rare as this is, Aaron Rodgers actually did this against the Giants back in a 2016 Wild Card game, the same team they played against in London this weekend.

Even though it takes a considerable amount of luck to convert a Hail Mary, regardless of who throws the ball, Aaron Rodgers has been called the “greatest” Hail Mary thrower of all-time:Aaron Rodgers to Richard Rodgers (2015) It is fitting that Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers tops our list and is honoured with the best Hail Mary pass of all-time. After all, he has thrown three Hail Mary’s in his career. It’s his first one from a 2015 match against Detroit Lions that we rank as the best Hail Mary of all-time though. The first half of the game had seen the Packers struggle with the Lions roaring into a 17-0 lead.

Isn’t it funny that the “best Hail Mary ever” was from Rodgers to Rodgers?

In the Packers’ matchup against the New York Giants today, the Giants took a safety that dropped their lead to five. This forced them to kick back off to the Packers, and hilariously, another player named Rodgers caught the ball – Amari Rodgers. He took the ball to the 41-yard line of Green Bay.

Rodgers and Green Bay both = 41

With only a few seconds left on the clock, this meant the Packers had only one chance to tie the game – by throwing another Hail Mary.

A false start penalty made it even more difficult for Rodgers, who took the next snap and prepared to launch a pass from his own 30 yard-line:

It wasn’t to be, however. Just as Rodgers was about to unload the pass, Giants linebacker Oshane Ximines drilled him from behind, dislodging the ball:

Ximines played college football at Old Dominion University, whose nickname is the Monarchs. How appropriate. He now wears # 53.

"King Charles" = 53 (Reduction)

King Charles‘ official title is Charles III.

Aaron Charles Rodgers and Ximines both = 93

"Charles Philip Arthur George" = 135 (Reverse Reduction)

Oshane Ximines was born 13 years, 5 days after Aaron Rodgers:

"Aaron Rodgers" = 135 (Ordinal)

"A Rod" = 135 (Latin)

Daniel Jones was 135 days after his birthday:
