Atlanta Braves All-Star Slugger Bob Horner Dies @ 68
Earlier this month, billionaire media mogul and former Atlanta Braves owner Ted Turner passed away. This week, one of the most talented Braves hitters during his tenure has died.
Bob Horner occupied the Braves’ lineup throughout most of the 1980’s, amassing over 200 home runs in his ten seasons, making the 1982 All-Star team in the process – back when All-Star selections were a bit more meaningful.
This three-part series of posts will examine how Horner’s demise is specially-synced to more than one Total lunar eclipse. Hank Aaron, or Hammering Hank, who spent most of his career with the Braves, hit the most home runs in the league’s history without the help of PED’s. He died on January 22nd, or 1/22 of the year 2021:
