Clarence B. Jones, civil rights activist who helped write MLK’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech, dies at 95

As stated in the headline, Clarence B. Jones was best-known for helping to write Martin Luther King’s I Have a Dream speech.

When I saw that a famous activist named Clarence died, the first person who came to mind (aside from Martin Luther King of course) was Clarence Thomas, the second African-American justice on the Supreme Court. Earlier this month, Thomas became the second-longest serving justice in the court’s history.
