Harry Whittington

In February of 2006, five years after Bush and Cheney took the White House, Dick was involved in one of the most bizarre incidents at the highest level of government.

During a quail hunting excursion, Cheney accidentally shot Texas lawyer Harry Whittington with a shotgun from just over 100 feet away. Harry survived the gunfire, albeit with some significant injuries, and eventually passed away at the age of 95 in the year 2023.
