Bill Mott’s Sovereignty Wins 151st Running of the Kentucky Derby
On Friday night, I made this post discussing how this year’s Kentucky Derby was heavily-synced to the 2027 Total Solar Eclipse that peaks over Luxor, Egypt, as this year’s field featured a horse named Luxor Cafe. Bettors and oddsmakers seemed to like this horse more and more as post time approached, moving from 15-to-1 to as high as 6-to-1.
This put him in roughly the same category as winner Sovereignty, who was near the top of the favorites all week, and was between 9-to-1 and 5-to-1 by the time they loaded into the gates. The name of this horse points to another riddle in my most recent video:
On May 2nd, the movie Rust was released. During its filming, Ukrainian-born cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was reportedly shot and killed by what should have been a prop gun.
In late February of 2022, Ukraine was attacked by Russia, threatening its Sovereignty in a years-long conflict that remains ongoing to this day. Just two days before the invasion, the horse Sovereignty was foaled:
