This weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway was dominated by Kyle Larson, who won Saturday’s Xfinity contest and Sunday’s Cup Series race. He drives for Hendrick Motorsports, who just so happened to suffer tragedy this week when team Communications Director Jon Edwards passed away following a “brief illness.”
Edwards was the public relations representative for Jeff Gordon, a four-time Cup Series champion who drove for Hendrick and now serves as the team’s vice chairman:
