Colts Beat Texans After Spending 322 Days on 572 Wins

After nearly an entire year of losing, the Colts finally got off the schneid Sunday with a last-second victory over their AFC South rivals, the Houston Texans.

Prior to Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans, the Indianapolis Colts were stuck on 572 wins since November of last year. This is a significant number to the Skull and Bones society, who use the number 322 on their emblem.

It’s rather appropriate they ended their losing streak against Houston.

Skull and Bones is also known as the Brotherhood of Death.

The Skull and Bones code has been extremely significant to the Indianapolis Colts for a while, as the second Skull and Bones Eclipse in 2024 passed directly over the city of Indianapolis:

The Eclipse then passed over Buffalo, New York. Exactly one week before the Eclipse, former Colts star Vontae Davis, who finished his career in Buffalo, passed away at the age of just 35.

A year later, Colts owner Jim Irsay died of a reported drug overdose in 2025. That season, the Colts jumped out to an incredible start, holding a record of 8-2 after defeating the Atlanta Falcons in the first-ever NFL game in Germany. However, they didn’t win another game all season. Their starting quarterback Daniel Jones got injured a month later, which resulted in one of the strangest stories in NFL history when Philip Rivers returned to the team after nearly five years of retirement.

After finally winning against Houston yesterday, The Indianapolis Colts ended their losing streak at 9 games.

The Colts had not won a game since playing in Germany, which threw the world into chaos in the mid-20th century following the rise of Hitler and the Nazi party.

Jim Irsay died on May 21st, the same date as Alphonso Taft, who co-founded Skull & Bones:

The other founder of Skull & Bones died on May 19th, which is the birthday of the Colts’ kicker. More on that in Part 3.

Anvil Strike

For their Week 3 matchup against the Texans, the Colts debuted a new jersey called Anvil Strike:

The uniforms were widely criticized, as many fans didn’t like the Gray color for a home game. Gray is of course the color associated with the Moon.

In the year 1923, we began counting each New Moon using the Brown Lunation Number. That same year, Adolf Hitler gave a famous speech about the Treaty of Versailles, which ended the first World War. In it, he asks Germans to be an Anvil (if they are not already a Hammer):

Hitler was the leader of the Third Reich. From 2018 – 2022, the Colts were coached by a man named Frank Reich.

The Nazi regime is also associated with the initials S.S., which is the abbreviation for their paramilitary organization called the Schutzstaffel. The Colts’ winning field goal came off the foot of Spencer Shrader, who shares those S.S. initials.

This war-like speech was made on April 17th, which falls under the astrological sign of Aries. In Greek mythology, Ares is the god of war and courage. The Roman equivalent is Mars, which is rather appropriate as Aries is ruled by the planet Mars.
