Kimi Antonelli Wins Italian Grand Prix in Best Drive of His Career
Earlier today, Formula One held the 2026 Italian Grand Prix. Since the sport officially began in 1950, the Italian and British Grands Prix have been the only two races on the calendar in every single one of their seasons, giving them more of a special feel over the other races.
Historically, Italy is a centerpiece of Formula One, mainly because it is home to Scuderia Ferrari, the most popular racing team on the planet. Naturally, the Italians absolutely love it when a Ferrari driver wins – and for the past six decades, that’s all they’ve been able to cheer for.
However, that changed today when Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli became the first Italian-born driver in sixty years to win the Italian Grand Prix. This historic victory was accentuated by the fact that the 20-year-old emerged from all the way back in 19th on the grid, a position he fell to after taking multiple engine penalties. With his teammate George Russell starting on the front row in the same machinery, it was difficult to imagine an Antonelli win was possible, but here we are.
This is Part 1 of a two-part post:

- Leclerc Crashes at Parabolica During Antonelli’s Mercedes ‘Revelation’
Background
In May, I made this post after famous Italian F1 / IndyCar driver Alex Zanardi passed away, explaining how it was connected to the Church of Satan and its founder Anton LaVey, whose name is similar to Antonelli:

Antonelli was born on the date leaving 128 days in the year:![]()
Kimi was the first Italian to win at Monza since 1966, when Ferrari driver Ludovico Scarfiotti took the checkered flag. Naturally, this post will examine the numerical connections these two drivers share.

Ludovico Scarfiotti isn’t the only Italian to win the Italian Grand Prix. No driver born in the boot-shaped nation has won the race more times than Alberto Ascari, who famously died at Monza Circuit during a test run in 1955. The part of the track he crashed at now has a chicane called Variante Ascari in his honor.
Ascari was killed on the 26th of May, or 26/5:
Antonelli’s win from the back of the grid wasn’t the only shock in F1 this weekend. On Saturday, pole position was claimed by Alpine driver Pierre Gasly, who had never finished atop a Qualifying position before. Gasly has just one win to his credit, and it was at Monza in 2020.

The 73rd Prime number is 367

1117 is the 187th Prime number
11×17 = 187

187 is widely-recognized as the Homicide code – appropriate for a story synced to the death of Ascari and Scarfiotti:
Kimi drives the #12 car
Gasly drives the #10 car

The Italian Connections
Ludovico Scarfiotti picked up his only win at Monza in the 148th Grand Prix in F1’s history:![]()

These same four digits are also found in the gematria of the number 513.

In my first-ever post about Kimi Antonelli, I discussed the importance of the number 513 because his first Practice session was at Monza the very same weekend Franco Colapinto ran his first Grand Prix. This is particularly intriguing because Colapinto is now Pierre Gasly’s teammate at Alpine:

513 is the reflection of 213.

’66 was the year of Scarfiotti’s win at the Italian GP at Monza:![]()

The Italian Grand Prix has accounted for 6.6% of all Formula One races.
The Church of Satan was formed in ’66
Alex Zanardi was born in ’66
The 66th Prime number is 317

Alberto Ascari was killed 317 days after his birthday and 6 weeks, 6 days before his next:
317 is the inverse of 713
Ascari was born on July 13th, or 7/13:

This was Antonelli’s 7th win and 13th podium
His teammate has 7 wins and 31 podiums
Vertappen has 71 wins and 131 podiums

These same digits are also found in 137.

The 137th Prime number is 773
137 is the 33rd Prime number
Ascari died on a date with Reduced numerology of 33:![]()

Other Notes

Ludovico Scarfiotti’s win happened at the 37th Italian Grand Prix:![]()
