Immediately afterwards, the entire Braves bullpen broke into Acuna’s home run celebration, where he extends his arms like wings and flaps his wrists – a lot like the iconic rally call of fans from the 1994 film Angels in the Outfield:

Two months later, I made this post after Jo Adell essentially did the opposite, allowing a fly ball to bounce off of his head before clearing the fence for a home run – very similar to what happened to the Marlins on Thursday:
The fact that his first name is Jordon is interesting because Joseph Gordon-Levitt was born on Michael Jordan‘s birthday, exactly 18 years apart. Acuna Jr.’s home run was hit off of pitcher Janson Junk, who was born exactly 18 months after the release of Angels in the Outfield.
In the official trailer for the movie, the first words uttered by the announcer are a direct representation of what happened in last night’s bizarre play.
“And Williams and Norton collide…and the catch is blown!”
Miami’s left and center fielders ran into each other directly in front of an Equifax logo:
